The Company Awarded Wuhan Hanxi Wastewater Treatment Contract
April 29 2005, the company is awarded a new BOT wastewater treatment project in Wuhan Hanxi. This Project comprises the procurement, installation and commissioning of a wastewater treatment system for a municipal wastewater treatment plant in Hanxi, Hubei Province, PRC., with a contract value of RMB193million. This wastewater treatment plant is expected to serve an area of 54.67 square kilometers and an estimated population of 600,000, as well as treat up to 400,000 tonnes of water daily to the city government.
The project is awarded by Wuhan Hanxi Wastewater Treatment Co. Ltd, of which Asia Water Technology has 43% stake.
